Malnutrition remains one of the biggest threats to children’s survival in Nigeria. At Loving Gaze, we believe no child should suffer simply because they lack access to proper nutrition and care. Through our nutrition and welfare programs, we restore health, strength, and hope to children and families facing difficult conditions.

Our Nutrition Centers

Loving Gaze operates two Nutrition Centres in Lagos — at Ilasan (Lekki) and Idi-Araba — where children affected by malnutrition receive free medical treatment, daily feeding, and emotional support.

Each child’s progress is closely monitored by healthcare professionals and social workers who work directly with parents and caregivers to teach:

Basic hygiene and nutrition practices
Preparation of affordable, balanced meals
Early detection of malnutrition symptoms

These centres provide not only treatment but a second chance at life for hundreds of children every year.

Family and Community Support

We know a child’s recovery doesn’t end with treatment. Our social workers conduct home visits and community follow-ups to ensure families can maintain healthy feeding habits. Parents, especially mothers, receive training to help them care confidently for their children and share this knowledge with others in their community.

A Story of Renewal

When Israel, a baby abandoned and severely malnourished, was brought to our centre, his survival seemed uncertain. Under the care of our team, he received medical attention, nourishment, and affection. Today, Israel is walking, playing, and smiling — proof that with love and care, every child can grow strong again.
